5 Ways To Be More Organised

Monday, 24 April 2017

Luckily, I'm naturally quite an organised person, some may even say over-organised. I'm a bit of a neat freak and I find stationery, folders and colour coordination so satisfying. Yes, it's all very sad but stay with me. As someone who prides themselves on their organisation, and as exam time is just around the corner, I thought I'd share some tips on how you can get your arse in gear and get a little bit more organised.

1) List List List
Making lists is hands down the best way to start getting more organised. When revising this makes a huge difference to how much work I get done. If you write down all the topics you need to study in a subject and tick them off as you go you'll have a clearer idea of where you're at.

2) Buy New Stationery
Buying new stationery bits makes me so happy. That might sound so sad but I don't care because there's nothing I love more than new notebooks, quirky post it notes and colourful pens. It will definitely motivate you to start planning more and it makes revision and studying much more aesthetically pleasing. Ohh Deer and Kikki K have really cute, unique stationery sets.

3) Tidy Your Workspace
I definitely think a clear space means a clear mind. Having a tidy environment will make work much more comfortable and having things in order will increase your productivity. Pinterest has the best office decor ideas and simple tips for organising your workspace that I find so helpful for inspiration.

4) Do It Now
More often than not, I put the pro in procrastinating. I'm forever saying "I'll do it tomorrow" but really, it never happens. Just forcing yourself to do it now and not put things off will make you so much more organised and help you get on top off stuff you need to do.

5) Prioritise

Being a little bit ruthless and choosing what's important and what's not will make planning a much easier process. This applies to most things whether you're clearing out your wardrobe or trying to decide which subjects to study first. It'll save so much time and energy and help you accomplish more of the paramount tasks you need to complete.

How do you get organised?

    1. No I've never bought one! I've seen a few online though. I especially love the ones where you monitor how much water you drink, that;s so handy xx
