Nip+Fab Matte Liquid Lipsticks

Saturday, 8 July 2017

I was so happy to hear that Nip+Fab were bringing out makeup and I was desperate to try their liquid lipsticks after seeing the gorgeous nude shades. I only bought 2 but I definitely plan on buying more because I'm so impressed with them.

I picked 2 nude shades because I feel like they suit me more and the colours looked so pretty. I got Cinnamon and Biscuit. The photos don't make it look like there's much of a difference between the colours but there actually is. Cinnamon is a deep nude shade with a hint of ginger whereas Biscuit is a soft nude with more of a pink undertone. They're £7.95 which I think is really good value for money considering how good the quality is. I also really love how nice the packaging looks. I do appreciate packaging when it comes to makeup.

Things I noticed:
  • High Pigment- I was so impressed with the quality of pigmentation and the colours are so vibrant.
  • Tacky Not Sticky- Although they look matte they're not drying or flaky like some liquid lipsticks I've tried. They're not uncomfortably sticky to wear but they're not soft dry either. They're somewhere in between. If you do like a 100% dry matte feel then these probably aren't for you.
  • Comfortable- You know some liquid lipsticks that have a really heavy feel and just don't feel nice? These aren't like that and they don't make me want to take them off immediately. Instead, they're so light that it doesn't really feel like I've got any lip product on.
  • Long Lasting- They don't transfer easily or flake off like some liquid lipsticks which I really love; they stay on all day.
  • Smooth Formula- It's not super thick and it applies really easily and you also don't need too many layers of it either.
Have you tried these liquid lipsticks or any other Nip+Fab makeup products? Which ones do you recommend?
