Primark Homeware Haul

Friday, 11 August 2017

I'M FINALLY BLOGGING ABOUT SOMETHING INTERIOR RELATED!! It's been a long time coming. At the moment I'm re-decorating my bedroom so I've been non-stop pinning photos of different colour schemes, furniture and homeware accessories. All the things I love. Anyone who knows me (and follows my 7 different interior design pinterest boards) will know I'm OBSESSED with anything home design related. I can't get enough of it. I'm always planning what my future home will look like and have so many ideas I can't wait to put into practise.

For the time being, I'm living at home with my parents so my bedroom is the only place I can really start to decorate in my style. My theme for my room is grey and blush pink with copper and marble bits and bobs. Yes I know, basic. But it's popular for a reason. I've bought quite a few cacti and mini succulents too because I love to have flowers or little plants in environment.
I only visited Primark to take back a few tops but came out with even more clothes and a shit tonne of homeware. I've got to say, they're killing it with the home bits at the moment. It's all so me as well. Full of copper and marble. I couldn't resist picking up these few items so thought why not share them all in my first haul post. Am I allowed to call myself a blogger now I've done a haul?

Grey and Copper Cushion= £7
Cactus Vase= £3
Twinkle Light Dome= £6
Copper Ball Lights= £4
Copper Tealight Holder= £3.50
Pack of 5 Copper Hangers= £3
Marble Ceramic Artificial Plant= £4
Vintage Blossom Tealights= £1

After seeing that cushion in the window display from outside I knew I needed it for my room. When we got to the home section they'd all gone though (was heartbreaking for a moment, I won't lie). However, once we went to pay the lovely girl at the till asked someone to get the one from the window display for us when we explained that there weren't any left. You don't ask you don't receive I guess. As per usual I spotted the vintage blossom tealight candles right by the till area and grabbed them last minute. They smell so nice and it was meant to be since I bought that tealight candle holder. I'm a bit obsessed with the twinkle light dome. I'd seen this idea on pinterest but didn't really fancy faffing about with buying a dome (which are hella expensive by the way) then get lights and sort it all out myself, so this was perfect for me. One thing I was super excited about buying was the cactus vase. HOW CUTE IS IT?! My Mum absolutely hates it and thinks it doesn't go with my theme and although strictly speaking she's not wrong, I fricken love it. Just need to find a single rose or peony for it.

I'm really looking forward to finishing the rest of my room and finding some more cute homeware bits. I've been eyeing up some things from Sass and Belle so no doubt I'll be buying and sharing those in the near future.
Where else can I find nice home accessories at the moment?

  4. I need the copper hangers. My goal when I get my own house is to have all uniform and matching hangers, but I have so many clothes that I can imagine it would be quite expensive!
