No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bites

Saturday, 2 September 2017

I'm well and truly on the "no bake bar" bandwagon. I'm obsessed. It was actually my Mum who found this recipe and was the first to test it but after coming home from work one day to be her guinea pig taste tester (I'm not complaining) I was amazed. I love peanut butter so these are definitely my cup of tea but all of the ingredients combined make them so so yummy. They are so simple with only 4 ingredients and are full of protein.

90g Chocolate Protein Powder eg. Meritene
135g Oats
3 Tbsp of Peanut Butter
6 Tbsp of Honey

1) In a bowl, add the oats and honey together and whisk. I used a hand mixer which was really time consuming but a free standing electric mixer would be perfect.

2) Add the peanut butter and whisk again until the mixture is properly combined.

3) Whisk in your protein powder. You can use any one you want I suppose but chocolate is really nice in this recipe.

4) When the mixture is all mixed together, spread into a tin or baking sheet depending on what you want. Leave in the fridge for 3 hours.

5) Cut the chilled block into small bitesize pieces or rectangular bars. You could even get creative with cookie cutters.

And that's that. So easy, I love it.

  1. As soon as I saw 'no bake' I was like yep, you got me. I'm a sucker for recipes like that because they're so easy. I'll try this out, they look so damn good!
