12 Days Of Slackmas | 5 Lush Christmas Picks

Tuesday, 5 December 2017

Christmas is made up of a few essential components:
Festive songs, cosy movies, chocolate, and lush christmas products. Lush is one of my favourite brands out there, even more so at christmas. The scents get better and the designs get cuter. I can't actually believe that in nearly a year of blogging, I haven't done a lush haul. I haven't been there in so long and the Swansea store has recently changed location (and had the most incredible makeover) but there wasn't a chance I was going to miss the christmas goods. I'm sure you'll see a thousand christmas lush hauls this month but there's no harm in making it 1001.

I picked five of my favourite christmas products from this year which I must say, was really hard to narrow it down. Lush can be quite expensive so it's probably for the best that I only bought a select few because my poor bank balance is looking pretty sad at the moment. I've done most of my christmas shopping and can't wait to give everyone their gifts

I'm convinced that lush products are some of the most photogenic objects to exist. Lay them on a fury throw and wap some fairy lights over them and bam you've got a christmassy flatlay. Super easy. They make the most amazing gifts for Birthdays and Christmas and are always my go-to if I'm struggling for gift inspo. Who doesn't like lush? Actually, my mum. She HATES the shop. The smells give her a headache so she isn't chuffed having the scents circling my room. I however, am delighted.

1) Shoot For The Stars
I love a bath bomb and this one is a really nice one. It smells of honey and orange so I'm surprised I like it so much since I usually can't stand citrus scents. It's not too overpowering though and has a really nice sweet hint to it. I love the design too, I really don't want to use it. The blue colour is amazing and the gold glittery stars just make it even more christmassy.

2) Golden Wonder
If you were to ask me what my favourite lush product was I'd definitely say it's Golden Wonder. I've bought so many and I love the smell so much, I'd wear it as a fragrance if I could. It's such a pretty bath bomb and for me, it wouldn't be christmas without one. They've done a giant version this year but I couldn't bring myself to spend £12.95 on a bath bomb. I love the way it makes the bath look when it's dissolved. It creates such a nice green and blue colour with little gold stars.

3) Christmas Eve
I've only ever bought one bubble bar from lush before and ended up just chucking the whole thing in the bath. This wasn't a good idea AT ALL and the whole bath ended up being a foamy mess. Not good. This one is so cute and gives just the right amount of bubbles. For £3.95 it's quite a decent size so I think it's well worth the money. Depending on how much you use I'm pretty sure you could get at least 2 baths out of it. It has such a fresh and floral scent, different to your typical christmas scent but I love it so much and will definitely be buying a few more for throughout the month.

4) Butterbear
Ahhh the classic. It's one of my favourites at christmas time. It's such a creamy and smooth bath bomb after it dissolves. It's packed with my favourite scent; vanilla but also has a hint of caramel too. It doesn't actually list that in the ingredients but I'm sure I can smell it. It's apparently really good for your skin too because it's got cocoa butter which is an added bonus too. It's definitely moisturising without a greasy feel and made my skin feel really soft afterwards.

5) The Magic Of Christmas
And last but not least, my absolute favourite of them all. It looks way to good to use. It's a reusable bath bomb with the most glittery design ever. It got everywhere. I just love the details; the stick, red ribbon and little bell. So sweet. It turns my bath water gold as well as creating loads of bubbles and smells AMAZING. It's a mix of cinnamon and almond which are the perfect festive smells. It's definitely made its way into my top 5 favourite lush products for sure.

Have you used any christmas products from lush this year? Which are your faves?
